Siddharth, is your Vista system partition encrypted with TrueCrypt? Is it a fresh install of Vista? Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to just wipe the drive and start over again. When I was doing this I had to start over a couple times to get it right.

you should mention, for the usage with opera in fedora, you need to link libflashplayer.so either to /usr/lib/opera/plugins/libflashplayer.so or link /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so.

Another way is to directly copy the libflashplugin.so over to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and everything should work just fine.

I did, actually. It's needed to mount any of the Windows partitions.

I had some trouble installing it too, and eventually just found this tutorial which hit it on the head: http://penguinenclave.blogspot.com/2008/12/truecrypt-61-install-guide-for-fedora.html

I'm glad this guide was helpful to you!

Um... yeah... I asked my RA about a DVD player to hook up to our TV in the lobby so we could watch a movie together as a hall, and got seriously chewed out about it! But, while I was working at the Library of Congress they made us go to all these "classes" of a sort, (I guess they were technically meetings) where they went over copyright laws extensively, and, like you said, there is nothing illegal about watching a movie in your apartment lobby! Goodness... Poor, mislead RAs...
